Use whichever is easiest. WhatsApp is handy if you want to send photos of your dish, decoder or the error on screen.
What to Include When You Get in Touch
The more we know up front, the more useful the first reply. Start with where the property is: Hoedspruit town, an estate, a smallholding or a lodge in one of the private reserves. If there is a gate code, an access time or an estate rule about contractors, mention it too. Our service areas page lists the places we cover regularly.
Then describe the job. For a new installation, say where the TV will be and whether you already have a decoder. For a second room, say how far it is from the main TV — the details on our Extra View installation page explain why that matters. For a fault, tell us what the screen shows and when it started; many people find it quickest to send photos of the error, the dish and the back of the decoder on WhatsApp.
As a guide, basic installations in town start from R800, Extra View from R1,500 and fault-finding call-outs from R550, with equipment charged separately. Estates, farms and reserve properties are quoted per site once we understand the layout, and lodges or bars needing several screens should look at our business installation options.
We work Monday to Saturday, 7am to 6pm. Messages that arrive after hours are answered the next working day. If your problem is an account or subscription message such as E16, it is usually quicker to contact MultiChoice directly — our troubleshooting checklist explains which faults are which.
